Storytelling, Circus Skills, Music, Art, Drama, Dance, Create Workshop Timing

Create Summer Workshops: Be challenged. Be inspired. Be creative. Have fun!

A new club where art, language and science inspire creativity.

The children will work with the Create team of professionals eg actors, artists, choreographers, dancers, musicians and storytellers over the period of a week.
They will learn the skills and then use the knowledge gained to inspire their creativity.

The children will create a piece based on the art form, where each will reflect the point of inspiration and be a unique combination of art with language, maths or science.

The sessions will involve warm ups, challenges, games and participants will be taught new skills in art, circus skills, dance, drama, music and storytelling.

Our circus day begins with a demonstration of the skills the children will learn. This is then followed by the workshop where each child will be taught the skills demonstrated. The activities include - balancing peacock feathers, juggling with scarves & balls, spinning plates, Chinese ribbons, Poi, fun wheels and stilts. Whilst playing they develop co-ordination skills, improve balance and concentration, as well as lengthening their attention span.
